Electric operated. 6 shaping discs including pasta shells, lasagne sheets and spaghetti.

Comments

All raw ingredients are put into bowl and are mixed and kneaded for you.  The machine then passes the dough into a chamber which pushes it through a metal disk which produces your desired pasta shape.  Machine is quite large, similar in size to a small food processor.

Review of Pasta Presto Electric pasta machine close rated: #2 of 6

GHI Rating

74 / 100

Price

£250

Features

Electric operated with electric rollers.

Comments

This is an electric pasta maker; it has electric run rollers so there is no need for turning handles.  These electric rollers make feeding the dough through very quick and easy.  The rollers have excellent safety guards to stop fingers getting caught. Machine is quite large and not very compact.

Features

Manual pasta machine. One attachment which makes tagliatelle and spaghetti.

Comments

This is a basic pasta machine with manual rollers.  It has one attachment which enables you to make Tagliatelle and spaghetti successfully.  The machine can be a little tricky to clamp on to your work top but is suitable for those of us who do not wish to make pasta that often.  This machine simple to us and perfect for occasional use.

Review of Argos pasta machine close rated: #5 of 6

Review of Argos pasta machine expand

GHI Rating

66 / 100

Price

£14.99

Features

Manual machine.

Comments

This very basic model had an uncomfortable handle and was difficult to grip.  The knob to change the width of rollers was hard to use.  Instructions were poor and did not provide any recipe for making your own dough.  Machine lacked build quality and was very unstable whilst in use.
