Batch toasting test produced even browning and acceptable coverage but this became less even as the test progressed. Coverage and colour was good for the frozen test but inner faces were darker. Thick bread and bagels were evenly browned with good coverage. It stays on standby if kept on at the wall. Press controls are at the front for easy access but are quite small.

Patchy browning results for batch and frozen bread toasting. Thick sliced bread toasted well with even colour. Well browned bagels with even coverage even without a set bagel option. The lever needs to be pressed firmly to make the carriage stay down.Simple front positioned controls are easy to operate. Instructions too brief.

Batch toasting was striped but coverage and colour both good. Frozen test produced a slightly uneven colour but excellent coverage. The bagels were slightly darker at the edges and a little crisp, extra lift needed to remove them. Very clear instructions.

Batch and frozen toasting was patchy, with pale top and edges in places. Thick bread browned unevenly but coverage was very good. Even colour and excellent coverage on the bagel test. Controls and crumb tray are positioned at the front for easy access and the high lift feature works well, locking into place so you can use both hands to remove bread. Sturdy construction. Instructions multilingual and confusing.
