Quiet when boiling maximum amount but noisier when boiling a litre. An alarm sounds when the boiling is complete (can be switched off). The on indicator is obscured by the body of the kettle. The filter is tricky to remove as the handle gets in the way.

Good points: very quiet during all tests. The water gauge and on/off switch illuminate brightly when the kettle is boiling. The silver finish is attractive and does not show finger-marks. solid on/off control. Responsive flip open lid.

Drawbacks: Narrow and rather dark water gauge is hard to see and only shows measurements in cups.

Empty weight: 1.2kg. Noise when full: 55.8dB. Time to boil one litre: 2min 2secs
