Small cakes and fruit cake were evenly browned and risen in the top oven, the grill does not brown right to the edges of the grill pan, but fish fingers were evenly cooked and crispy and the grill pan handle has a sturdy rubber grip. In the bottom oven small cakes were evenly browned, but the fruit cake was flat and dark on top and undercooked in the centre, roast chicken was pale and roast potatoes were not evenly crisped. The main oven has a wide choice of shelf positions, the stainless steel finish shows fingermarks

The top oven produced evenly browned and risen small cakes, but the fruit cake was a little dark on the base and the grill did not perform well, only browning about 60% of the grill pan area. Small cakes were evenly browned and risen in the main oven as was the fruit cake, though it was a little wet in the centre, the roast meal came out well. It is not easy to accurately line up the oven control with the temperature markings, the satin stainless steel doesn't show fingerprints.

Comments

Small cakes rose and browned evenly, as did fruit cake, though it was slightly too moist in the centre,  roast potatoes were not golden or crisp enough and roast chicken did not get hot enough in the thickest parts. Grill temperature not variable and doesn't brown right to the edges of the grill pan. Good choice of shelf positions and shelf runners removable for easy cleaning. No auto-cook programme.

Comments

Heat comes up from bottom and small cakes and vol au vents on the lower shelf were burnt on bottom. Fruit cake was also quite dark on bottom. It was a squeeze to fit in the full roast dinner, roast potatoes were pale and partly crisped. Grilling was very uneven and it only browned a very small area of the grill pan. Oven temperatures on control dial written in ^oC instead of gas mark numbers and not clearly marked. Grill pan handle doesn't feel very secure. Door very reflective which makes it difficult to see inside. Stainless steel and glass frontage marks easily with fingerprints. Could do with more shelf positions. No auto-cook programme.
