Comments

The main oven is spacious and coped very well with our roast meal, fairy cakes rose and browned well, but the fruit cake was too dark on one side and a little wet in the centre. The top oven produced an evenly browned and well risen fruit cake and small cakes, but vol au vents were darker at the back. Toasting under the grill is fast and even and the grill pan handle can either be fixed or removable. When the lid is closed, the gas to the hob is automatically cut off, but controls do not return to zero. Available in black, brown, white or metallic silver.

Comments

The grill in this oven was the best of all the ones we tested, it was fast at grilling toast and browned evenly across the whole grill pan. In the top oven small cakes rose well, but were darker at the back and the fruit cake was evenly risen and cooked but slightly dark on top. Small cakes rose and browned evenly in the bottom oven, but were slightly darker at the back of the tray, roast potatoes were pale and not very crisp. Gas to the hob is cut off when the lid is closed but controls do not return to zero. No light in top oven. Stainless steel.

Comments

The grill is fast but doesn't brown right to the edges of the grill pan. In the top oven small cakes were evenly browned and risen but were a bit peaked. Fruit cake was evenly cooked but a little dark on top, vol au vents were also quite dark on top. In the main oven, small cakes and vol au vents were evenly cooked, as was the fruit cake, though it was a little dark on top. The oven coped well with our roast meal, though the roast potatoes were only partly crisp and golden. Gas to the hob is cut off when the lid is closed but controls do not return to zero. Large glass doors make it easy to see inside and the control panel is angled to make it easy to see and set the controls.

Comments

Browning under the grill was slightly uneven and it didn't brown right to the edges of the grill pan. In the top oven small cakes rose and browned evenly, as did the fruit cake, though it was a little dark on the base. In the main oven small cakes rose and browned evenly, the fruit cake was a little undercooked. The roast meal came out really well, golden and crisp, though the crumble was a little burnt on the edge near the side of the oven. Gas to the hob is cut off when the lid is closed and controls return to zero. Can be difficult to line up the temperature controls accurately, no light in top oven.

Comments

The grill doesn't brown all the way to the edge of the grill pan, but fish fingers were evenly grilled and crisped. In the top oven small cakes were cooked evenly but were darker towards the back of the tray, the fruit cake was evenly risen but dark on the base and slightly wet in the centre. In the main oven small cakes were slightly darker towards the back of the tray, but evenly risen, the fruit cake dipped in the centre and didn't rise enough, but vol au vents browned evenly, roast potatoes could have been crisper and the crumble was darker where near side of oven. Grill pan handle has a sturdy rubber grip. Gas to the hob is cut off when the lid is closed and controls return to zero. Glass door slightly reflective and the numbers on the control panel are a little small.
