St Mawes shoreline in Cornwall
David and Jocelyn Fawcett bought a tumbledown boathouse in St Mawes, Cornwall, and turned it into the ultimate coastal bolthole. Surrounded by water and with room to store their boats, it couldn\'t suit their nautical life better.

The Cornish shrimper Tadpole sits beside the tender to the Fawcetts\' yacht in the boatshed that is built into their home. The life rings display the name of the house.
