I make a coffee Victoria sandwich regularly for PTA events - Just make a plain sponge and fill and top it with coffee buttercream. If the buttercream has a strong coffee flavour, it doesn't seem to matter that the sponge is plain.

Thanks, I was thinking about it, but I taught maybe I would find one here, never mind, I am making pancakes until I got one for coffee cake.

I was wondering if there are any good recipes out there for the Pronokal protein diet? I still have some doubts about starting the diet but It did catch my ear that the method they use is very strict. Perhaps that is just what I need right now. They talk about medical supervision and being followed-up by dietitians.
But because it is a long way to go, I want to be sure that I will still have something tasteful to eat during the process. So is there anyone out there that is on the Pronokal program and that can help me out with some good recipes? It would really help me out a lot

Hello Julia ,I have never heard of this diet but the fact that it is so strict and that medical supervision would have warning bells ringing for me .You yourself don't seem to know much about ,sorry if I'm wrong, so I would suggest that you do lots of research before you go ahead .

You might be better off in the diet and healthy eating section ,you may get more response .
I never knowingly cause trouble !
