For Denise (or anyone re halogen ovens)

Denise firstly sorry you're still having electric problems, hope its soon sorted.

you mentioned having a helogen oven. do you like it? is it like those nu wave, flavour wave oven thingys they have on the telly.

please I'd appreciate anyones thoughts.

Hi Dell at least it's just the oven the switch must be shorting everything else is okay

Re the Halogen Oven I mainly use it to do jacket potatoes chicken and the odd ready meal as much more economical than using the main oven I've got a good recipe book for it but need to experiment more! Used it a lot at Christmas and when the new kitchen was being put in when we weren't at the pub! 2 of my friends have them and love them too would attempt to bake in it but would be too tempting! Yes the waves go around the side of the bowl cooking the food I got mine through Amazon

Will be using it while waiting for oven to get fixed !

Oh Anna I've been reading about the quilting Bee and loving the idea. sadly I'm a lousy sewer (is that a word?? please note I'm not referring to the place waste goes however I'd be lousy at that also )

I was wondering if its not possible for non sewers (that word again ) to quilt/patchwork is there another group craft we could join in on??
