Can anyone suggest a good way of lining muffin tins with pastry that looks tidy. I've tried cutting a quarter out of the pastry circle but it doesn't look or sit properly.

I just wondered if anyone had any ideas.

Hello MM .Is the regular cutter hat you use too big ? If it is why don't you try using an empty tin which may be slightly smaller .I can't think of anything else to suggest .

in the past, I've lined small ones by putting a lump of dough in the bottom and working it by hand up the sides . . it might be worth a try and is the only thing I can suggest . .
