Pippa Richardson of Cornwall sent this month's winning image, of Cornwall. The printed message on the back reads, 'There is nothing but the open Atlantic between the Cornish coast and America.' Pippa collects postcards, mostly from 1900 to 1920. 'They show an amazing world, gone for ever,' she writes. 'There's no substitute for postcards to convey the flavour of where you've been.' She has won a Century 11 fountain pen.
