Gemma Wightman ceramicsGemma Wightman ceramics
The process of hand-throwing her designs heavily influences potter Gemma's subtle-coloured porcelain pieces, which range from teapots and oil drizzlers to bowls and circular trays. "The deep, thrown lines of the ceramics echo the motion of the wheel," she says, "while the silky shimmer of the satin glaze is reminiscent of wet porcelain."
