Coughton Court Rose Festival

Coughton Court, Alcester, Warwickshire
As part of the 600th Anniversary year of the Throckmorton Family's residence at their Tudor home, Coughton Court, this annual rose festival will feature the gardens' award-winning Rose Labyrinth. The garden boasts more than 200 varieties of roses - shrub, climbing and rambling roses including Damasks, Albas, Teas, Noisettes, Floribundas and many old-fashioned English roses.

Anita Taylor: 'A mon seul désir'

A series of large scale paintings and drawings by Anita Taylor, on the theme of the six great 15th century tapestries La Dame et Licorne, permanently housed at the Musee de Cluny in Paris.

Two new exhibitions at the Quilt Museum

Quilt Museum, York
'Pearls, Pearls, Pearls' celebrates the 30th anniversary of The Quilter's Guild of the British Isles with a juried exhibition of Guild members work. Pieces of work range in size, colour and design, but all are beautiful pieces that show the creativity and talent of their makers. The Wholecloth Tradition explores the techniques, history and motifs used in wholecloth quilting, concentrating on the North County wholecloth style. On display are several pieces of Amy Emms' work, including a small case of her tools and some smaller pieces.
A Malham Family of Painters

Hampshire Food and Farming Festival

Various venues across Hampshire
More than 120 events around the county in celebration of local food and drink, from workshops and masterclasses in making sausages, jam, chutney and chocolate, as well as bee-keeping and growing your own veg. There will also be a smokery demo, tastings, organic frm tours, summer BBQs, Hampshire hog roasts and more.

The Festival of History

Jekka's Herb Farm Open Days

Artist's Studios at Hylands House

Hylands House, Chelmsford, Essex
Visitors to Hylands Estate can now appreciate the skill of local craftspeople in the newly restored Stables Centre. Currently there are seven local artists appearing at the centre on Sundays and Mondays throughout the year. Visitors can watch them undertake their craft work and purchase the finished products. Work includes silver, ceramics, textiles, paintings, glasswear and stonework.
