Plants have been allowed to work their own magic in an enchanting garden, complete with old-fashioned nursery, on the Sussex Downs. The views across the cornfield are framed by exuberant plantings of lavender, delphinium and rose.A bench is surrounded by an assortment of fragrant roses, delphinium, honesty, knautia and hardy geranium. It has become well known locally for nursery raised perennials and principally for Hellebore species and hybrids, all raised from seed.
