 Australian show garden, Chelsea Flower Show 2008It's acclaimed as the world's best flower show. And every year, for five days in May, the grounds of the Royal Hospital in Chelsea are transformed into a fabulous horticultural showcase. It takes around 800 people working for over three-and-a-half weeks to create this amazing show from the Royal Horticultural Society.

It's the place to see the latest gardening trends, new plant species and more than 200 fantastic floral displays in the great pavilion. Members' tickets are now sold out for Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th. Members' tickets are available for Thursday 21st, Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd.

 

Non-RHS member tickets are available for Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd. For Thursday 21st, all-day entry (£43, from 8am), afternoon entry (£24, from 3.30pm) and evening entry (£18.50, from 5.30pm). For Friday 22nd, all-day entry (£43, from 8am), and evening entry (from 5.30pm, £18.50) are available. Afternoon entry is sold out.  For Saturday 23rd, a limited number of all-day entry (£43, from 8am) are available. Availability correct at time of publication.

If you are lucky enough to be visiting the Show, make sure you wear comfy shoes, and take a big bag for all those tempting purchases you're sure to make.
