Country Living has been reacting to rural issues since it was launched in 1985, from finding wives for lonely farmers and rewarding talented craftspeople and business entrepreneurs to helping British farmers get a fair price for their produce. And we've relied on our readers to support us all the way.

So it's only fitting, in our Silver Jubilee year, that we should be calling for your help again. We want you to show you care - to protect the landscape we love, to ensure farming thrives and to support small rural businesses in these tough financial times.
