What's on: As the largest German-style Christmas market outside Germany, the Frankfurt Christmas market in Birmingham hosts over 80 stalls selling authentic German gifts, foods and drinks as well as handmade ceramics, glasswork, jewellery, candles and decorations. Make sure you sample some of the glühwein, grilled sausages, marzipan sweets, pretzels and traditional German breads and pastries.
