Add appliqué to a cushion

Personalise a cushion cover with a word or two - we chose 'love'

How to make

● Draw your choice of word on paper and cut out.

● Experiment until you are happy with design and size of letters. Drawing letters by hand may produce a more pleasing design than using a ruler.

● Lay letters face down - in reverse - on the wrong side of a sheet of Bondaweb and draw around them.

● Cut out, leaving a margin around each letter.

● Iron onto the wrong side of fabric and cut out accurately.

● Position letters on right side of cushion front and fuse in place following manufacturer's instructions.

● Work close zigzag stitch around the edge of each letter.
