Step-by-step flower arranging: create a rosy posy

This stunning centrepiece makes for a beautiful arrangement that will enhance any room in your house

Flower arrangementYou will need:

● pre-soaked Oasis

● cake stand

● small container to hold Oasis

● eucalyptus

● salal

● 4 stems of trachelium

● 2 hydrangeas

● 10 roses

 

 

 

 

Flower arrangementStep 1

Place Oasis on centre of cake stand - use container to keep in position. Trim eucalyptus and salal

Step 2

Push eucalyptus and salal into Oasis to form a loose dome shape.

 

Tip

To keep costs down, use flowers and foliage from your garden.

Trim trachelium down and place individual flowers in between foliage.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 4

Carefully create small florets from hydrangeas, and cut down roses. Place roses in pairs in Oasis, making sure there are no gaps and the dome shape is maintained. Keep Oasis well watered and remove any dead flowers and leaves as they appear, so the arrangement lasts longer
