Flying fairy decorations for a child's room
The perfect decoration for a little girl's bedroom and easy to make too
These should be popular as decorations for a little girl's bedroom. To make, cut a small piece off a metal scourer and glue to peg for hair, trimming as necessary. Cut a 25cm length of 6cm-wide ribbon - if using sheer ribbon, you may want to use it double. Gather ribbon 2cm below top edge and draw up to fit around peg. Cut a 70cm length of embroidery thread. Tie one end tightly around on top of gathers to hold ribbon in place on peg. Wrap narrow ribbon around on top of thread and tie at back. Insert a small artificial flower under ribbon at front. Cut a rectangle of fine net 25cm x 12cm. Tie the embroidery thread tightly around centre of net at back of peg to make wings and attach them. Glue thread to back of head and use to hang up fairy.
