Customise a simple glass candle with a chic découpage floral decoration

Découpage is the art of decorating a surface with shapes or illustrations cut from paper and finished with many coats of clear varnish. Use wrapping paper, wallpaper or buy books or sheets of découpage images in black and white or colour. Some of these are available pre-cut.

Decorating a candle is such a simple yet effective idea - perfect for a special gift.

Simply cut out a large floral motif from wrapping paper, attach it to the glass and finish with several coats of clear varnish.
