Pretty posies for a wedding

These posies are perfect for a wedding or village fete

 

You will need

● A selection of small-headed flowers, such as broom, hydrangea, spray rose and wax flowers

● A selection of leafy foliage, such as viburnum and ivy

● floral tape

● wooden sticks (available from florists)

● ribbon

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 1: Cut down the stems on the flowers and foliage, but leave enough of a stem to be able to secure to stick.

 

 

Tip: If using outside in warmer weather, spray with water to keep fresh a little longer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 2

Attach a selection of flowers to the sticks using floral tape.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 3

Cover stick by knotting ribbon at the top and winding diagonally down the stick and back up. Secure with another knot. Attach bow in the same or contrasting ribbon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 4

As an alternative, use roses with a small spray of ivy.
