Make a Mother's Day card
Create your own Mother's Day card this year
Create a handmade card for Mum's special day. Cut a rectangle of card for the present and glue it to the wrong side of a remnant of flowery fabric. Trim fabric level with edge of card.
Cut a piece of narrow ribbon 2cm longer than present. Wrap ends around present and glue on wrong side. Glue present to a folded card. Cut a small label-shaped piece of card for a gift tag and write your message on it. Glue to the present. Tie a small bow of ribbon and glue on top of present.
Tip: buy an envelope in a colour that co-ordinates with your card, and cut the card to fit the envelope.
