Make a pretty knitting bag
Carry your knitting in style with this handy bag
Cut two 40cm squares of fabric for bag and two of fabric for lining. With right sides together, pin and stitch two squares together at sides and bottom, taking 1cm seam allowances and leaving 15cm open at top of each side.
Repeat for lining. With right sides together, pin and stitch lining to bag at sides taking 1cm seam allowances. Turn right side out and press. Press under 1cm across top edge. Fold top edges over handles making a 3cm-deep hem and pin. Stitch the hem, moving the excess fabric along the handles as you work to keep a flat area under the needle.
