Revamp a desk
Make it fun to study at home, and provide an easy way to keep a clean surface
Use a new desk or table or refresh an old one with a coat or two of paint. Choose a map, poster, collection of photographs or something of personal interest. Cut it to fit the desk top and cover with a piece of glass cut to size.
We used a map of a favourite holiday area, trimmed to fit a desk top. Look in your local telephone directory for a supplier of glass who will cut suitable glass to size and smooth the edges.
