Love-heart cushion to sew

Snuggle up with a heart-shaped cushion, for your home or someone special

You will need:

● 50cm of fake fur fabric - try The Cloth House (020 7287 1555)

● matching thread

● polyester toy filling

To make:

Enlarge heart-shaped template as required. Our cushion measures approx 45cm x 40cm. Cut out two hearts from fabric. With right sides facing, pin and stitch pieces together around outer edge, taking 1cm seam allowances and leaving a gap in one side. Reinforce top point of heart with second row of stitching. Clip seam allowances to point of stitching. Turn through to right side. Fill with toy filling. Sew up gap in seam by hand.

Tip

For the cushion, enlarge the template to the maximum size possible on a copier and add on the required amount all round, to make a paper pattern.
