Flower-arranging: touch of the country

Pretty floral china and colourful seasonal blooms make a fragrant display for summer

 

 

You will need:

● Selection of floral-printed china

● Sprigs of rosemary

● Bunch of sweet peas

● Four illusion roses

● Five veronicas

 

Tip: Look out for old china in charity shops and car-boot sales. Don't worry if it doesn't match - this will add to its charm. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 1

Group together your floral china. Use cups and teapots as well as a vase or jug. Trim all stems on flowers and greenery.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 2

Place sprigs of rosemary in the bigger vessels. This will add greenery, as well as a wonderful scent.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 3

Divide sweet pea bunch into two and arrange in the jug and teapot.

 

Step 4

Place rose in cup and add three roses to jug. Place veronica in between, making sure they are slightly higher than the rest of the blooms.
