Step-by-step flower arranging: sunflower centrepiece
This simple arrangement of sunflowers will put a smile on anyone's face and takes just minutes to arrange
You will need:
● glass vase
● scissors
● aspidistra leaves
● string
● 7 sunflowers
● gift bag
● tissue paper
Remember to change the water every few days and keep arrangement out of direct sunlight so it will last longer.
Step 1
Half-fill vase with water. Trim stems of flowers and leaves.
Step 2
Bend back leaves of two aspidistras and tie using string around each sunflower
Step 3
Bind flowers together with string, making sure some of sunflowers are lower at front. Place in vase.
Step 4
Add to gift bag. Scrunch tissue paper and tuck inside top of bag.
Tip
If giving as a gift, why not create your own gift tag and attach it to the handles of the bag.
