Plant a tree for autumn

Autumn tree

Trees give a garden height, form, privacy and shade and add interest all year round. They’re also a welcome perch for wild birds. There are lots of varieties that fit limited spaces, so you can always find room, even in a small garden. Bear in mind the eventual size they'll grow to when choosing a spot, and plant away from walls and houses.

Best species for an autumn display
