Make patchwork Christmas baubles
Bring some real festive cheer to your home
Recycle old baubles by covering them with a patchwork of fabrics. If you don’t want to use baubles you already have, buy some from a pound shop.
You will need
● Scissors
● Fabric
● Glue brush
● PVA glue
● Baubles
How to
Simply cut your chosen fabrics into small squares and rectangles – they don’t have to be all the same size.
Once you have a pile of fabric pieces ready, use a glue brush to cover the bauble with a layer of PVA glue.
Start sticking on the fabric swatches, overlapping them so there are no gaps, and hang it up to dry.
Fabric, £9.99 for eight assorted fat quarters; PVA glue, £1.99 for 250ml; glue brush, 50p. All Hobbycraft
