PR make white clay Christmas decorations

A simple pure-white design can make a big impact when hung on the Christmas tree.

You will need
● Heart and circle cookie cutters
● Bamboo skewer
● Flower-shaped buttons
● Ric rac
● Merry Christmas rubber stamp
● White air-drying clay
● White ceramic paint
● 9mm silver/grey organza ribbon

Roll out the clay on a clean and dry surface to a thickness of 5mm. Cut out shapes using cookie cutters.

Use flower-shaped buttons, the flat end of a bamboo skewer, pieces of ric rac and rubber stamps to make imprints in the shapes.

Make a hole at the top of each decoration with the sharp end of the bamboo skewer.

Place on a tray and leave somewhere warm to dry for 3-4 days.

Decorate the shapes with ceramic paint and leave to dry.

Thread each decoration with a length of thin ribbon to hang them up with.

Cookie cutters, buttons, ric-rac, rubber stamp, clay, paint and ribbon, all from Hobbycraft
