This novel way of displaying your flowers will make a lovely gift or a stunning centrepiece for a special occasion
● hat box
● plastic bag or lining
● ¾ slab of Oasis, presoaked
● 7 stems of rosemary
● 3 stems of viburnum
● scissors
● 1 stem hydrangea
● 11 roses, ideally two shades
Tip: Try to coordinate your flowers with the colours of your hat box. We've used old tea roses in a dusky shade of pink to match the illustrations. Where possible, use herbs and flowers from your garden - substitute with similar greenery if you don't have the ones suggested.
Step 1
Line base of box with plastic or a tray. Place Oasis in centre of box.
Step 2
Add rosemary and viburnum, making sure they're fairly evenly placed.
Step 3
Trim hydrangea and push firmly into Oasis on one side.
Step 4
Fill any gaps with trimmed roses
