Flower arranging: shades of autumn

You will need:

● opaque vase in a strong colour
● sticky tape
● scissors
● selection of foliage in various shades
● gerberas
● chrysanthemums
● packet of dried leaves (available from florists)

Step 1

Make a grid across the top of the vase with tape. This will prevent any long stems flopping over.




 

Step 2

Add longer stems of twig foliage first, making sure they are different heights.

 

 

 

 

Step 3

Add leafy foliage, keeping the height lower than the twig foliage.








Step 4

Trim stems on gerberas and place three in vase – fill in any gaps with chrysanthemums. Add dried leaves to bottom of arrangement
