How to make beautiful ribbon roses
Step by step to beautiful fabric flowers
You will need
● Approx 50cm of wired ribbon
● Hand width of florist wire
● A bead or button
● Stem tape
1. Thread the bead in to the centre of the wire then twist so the bead is attached to the wire.
2. Gather the ribbon on one side in to the centre (You will need to gather the ribbon at both ends so you meet in the middle). Then add the wired bead to one of the ends of the ribbon.
3. Slowly start wrapping the gathered ribbon around the centre bead ensuring the ribbon isn't twisted.
4. When you have wrapped all of the ribbon around the wired bead carry on winding the remnant ribbon wires around the main stem. Then tear a small of stem tape, pinch it at the bottom and wrap it around the stem to cover it.
5. For that special wedding gift add several roses as a decoration. They also look great tied on to napkins. Several roses can be added to an awkward shape gift in cellophane
