Make a pretty patterned paper fan
These pretty paper fans beautifully decorate a summer table and are useful when the heat gets too much!
We used double-sided wrapping paper for these fans so they have a pretty pattern to both sides. If you can't find double-sided paper, stick pieces of regular wrapping paper together to achieve the same effect.
Cut a piece of wrapping paper 36cm x 40cm. Fold concertina-wise in 2cm folds back and forth along the 36cm width, pressing each fold firmly.
When completed, fold in half cross-wise and stick meeting edges together. Use a hole punch to make a hole 2cm up from fold at base of fan.
Thread a length of ribbon through hole, tie in a bow and spread fan.
