Use polystyrene eggs to make our cute little chicks for Easter
From decorative paper, cut three triangles 1cm wide x 6cm, 8cm and 10cm long. Pin them to the back of the egg using a matching glass headed pin, and cut the ends.
Cut a small triangle of paper, fold in half and glue the edges to the front for the beak. Use two black glass-headed pins for eyes. Cut a 12cm square of paper for wings. Fold it concertina style in 1cm folds.
Cut the edges into points. Tie a long piece of string around a matching glass headed pin and use to pin the wings to the top of the egg. Suspend chicks from ceiling, a window or in front of a mirror.
8cm polystyrene eggs, Hobbycraft (01202 596100). Papers, Paperchase (020 7467 6200)
