Make fun bookmarks
Use oddments of card and gift wrap to make bookmarks suitable for all ages
Cut a 15cm x 5.5cm piece of coloured card and punch a hole at the centre of one end. Look for patterned wrapping paper with pretty designs or fun characters that have simple outlines to cut out. Choose a variety of different designs so you can make bookmarks suitable for boys, girls or adults. Cut out motifs, arrange on bookmark and glue in place. Use a narrow ribbon that picks out one of the colours in your design and tie it through hole in bookmark.
Tip: We used spray glue to stick the motifs in place as it gives a flat finish and also allows you to peel off and reposition them, if necessary.
