Make a driftwood sign
Turn driftwood into a stylish sign
Collect lots of short lengths of driftwood from a beach, searching along the high-water mark. Look for some slightly curved pieces, too.
Cut a piece of thick card to the size of your picture frame.
Lay out the driftwood to create a word of your choice, trimming the driftwood if necessary.
When you’re happy with the arrangement, stick in place using strong clear drying glue. Place in the picture frame.
Tip: Choose a box picture frame to allow for the thickness of the driftwood. If your frame isn’t deep enough, use it without the glass.
