Simple paint project: painted herb pots

Painted herb pots

We used three plain terracotta plant pots and saucers. Paint with emulsion paint for indoor use – or use exterior paint for outdoor pots. We used Farrow & Ball Cornforth White. Simply apply two coats, leaving to dry between each coat. We used emulsion for a matt finish. As terracotta is porous, you may want to seal the saucers with a coat or two of clear matt varnish.
