Step-by-step flower arranging: a candle centrepiece

A sweetly scented arrangement to bring the gentle glow of candlelight to your table

You will need:

● One bunch of pink roses and one bunch of freesias
● A candle
● An 8-inch oasis ring
● A glass vase to fit inside the ring
● Foliage from your garden  (five varieties have been used in our photo)




Step 1

Soak the oasis and place on a plate. Put the vase inside the ring. Cut 10cm lengths of the foliage and arrange in groups around the oasis.



Step 2

Cut the roses to about 12cm lengths and push between the foliage in the oasis. Repeat with freesias 




Step 3

Put the candles in the vase and place the arrangement in the centre of your table. Light the candle and enjoy.
