Step-by-step flower arranging: rosy reds

Flower arrangement rosy red display

You will need:

● 6 red roses

● small amount of foliage (from your garden if possible)

● florist's string

● 6 stems of pink spray roses

● 4 pink hydrangea

● scissors

● vase







Step 1

Group six red roses together with a small bunch of greenery and tie with florist's string. Make sure the greenery lies snugly below the roses like a ruff.






Step 2

Add the spray roses to the outside edge around the greenery and secure with more string. Spray roses are good value, as there are several flowers on each stem.






Step 3

Add the hydrangeas below the roses, then secure the bunch with string.






Step 4

Cut the stems just a little shorter than the vase so that once the flowers are in the water the hydrangeas rest on the rim.
