Basket of Chocolate Easter Eggs

Wrap small chocolate eggs in pretty papers and arrange in a basket of shredded paper for a delightful Easter gift.

Leave original wrapping paper on egg. Cut a rectangle of wrapping or origami paper 1cm deeper than the length of the egg by 1cm longer than the circumference of the egg. Fold it in half lengthwise and cut 6mm wide strips stopping 6mm from the fold.

Glue the centre of the paper around the centre of the egg. Trim the sides of the strips to points, checking as you go that they will overlap slightly to cover the ends of the egg.

Brush glue over the end of the egg and press paper in place. When dry, repeat at other end.
