Make pretty friendship bracelets
These are easy to make so you can get the children involved
Cut three 60cm lengths of embroidery thread. Use three different colours or all one colour.
Fold in half to create three double strands and knot them at top to make a small loop, as shown.
Pin or tape loop to a board, spread out threads and plait double strands together. You can slip charms or beads into the design whenever you want by threading them onto the strands as you plait.
When completed, separate threads into three strands on each side and tie together in a knot. To fit bracelet onto a wrist, tie the two loose ends through loop, as shown, and trim ends.
