Sew a child’s apron

Little girl wearing an apron and her teddy

Cut out apron following measurements on diagram. Cut four 50cm lengths of 2.5cm-wide white tape for waist and neck ties. Press under 1cm twice around outer edges of apron. Pin and insert waist and neck ties under hems at corners. Stitch hems, sewing in ties as you go. Work second row of stitching across ties. Finish ends of ties by folding under 1cm twice and stitch.

For personalised appliqué, draw letter in reverse on right side of Bondaweb and iron onto wrong side of chosen fabric. Cut out and iron in place on front of apron. Zigzag stitch around edges.

Repeat for teddy, scaling down pattern to fit.
