How to appliqué hand towels
Add a stylish touch to the bathroom with our heart-shaped design, first published in April 2009
How to make
● Enlarge the template below by 400 per cent on a photocopier. Trace outline onto Bondaweb and cut out roughly.
● Remove paper and iron onto wrong side of printed fabric. Cut out fabric accurately and iron onto towel.
● Work close zig-zag stitch around outer edge of the heart.
● To decorate lower edge of towel with narrow cotton broderie anglaise trimming, press under raw edge of trimming and stitch to wrong side of towel, turning under trimming at edges.
