Make a quilled paper heart Valentine card
Add a cute curled paper heart to a card: simple but sophisticated
You will need
brown paper card blank (you can use another colour if you prefer)
red thin card
white or silver pen
Cut a strip of the red card measuring 20cm long x 7mm wide. Fold in half.
Roll one end of the card strip tightly around a thin pencil or other cylindrical object, such as a teaspoon handle, leaving the centre near the fold unrolled to make the bottom point of the heart. Repeat for the other end. For a tighter curl, secure the rolled-up card with sticky tape and leave for a couple of hours.
Glue on to the card and write 'to my Valentine...' or whatever you wish underneath.
You can coordinate your wrapping to match, making another quilled heart and writing a Valentine message on red ribbon to wrap your present.
