Revive a drawer

Floral Drawer

Use pretty wallpaper or wrapping paper to line a drawer - it's a great idea if you want to prevent your delicates from getting snagged on rough wood, or if you want to freshen up an old drawer.

Cut paper large enough to cover the base and sides of the drawer and cut into the corners so you can fold the paper for a neat fit. We used Summer Palace wallpaper in Duck Egg, £25 per roll from Laura Ashley (0871 230 2301).

Tip: If the drawer doesn't run smoothly, rub the edges with a candle to help it slide more easily.
