How to make a gardeners kneeler
Protect your knees when gardening with a squashy kneeler covered in wipe-clean PVC with a handy carrying handle
Cut a piece of PVC 50cm x 70cm. Fold in half with right sides together and stitch across the bottom and along the side taking 1cm seam allowances (see illustration). Turn right side out. Stuff with polyester filling or an old pillow folded in half. Turn under 1cm across top edges and pin. Insert ends of a 30cm length of polyester webbing about 14cm apart for handle and stitch across.

Fabric, from a selection at Cath Kidston (0845 026 2440).
