Transform a teatowel: peg bag

teatowel peg bag

Lay the tea towel right side down and fold down the top edge by a third and then fold up the bottom edge by two thirds, so the hemmed edges of the tea towel touch.

In the centre of the top fold, cut a slit for where the coat hanger will need to come through.

Make a template of the shape you want the bag to be, lay it on the folded tea towel, adding a 1.5cm seam allowance, and cut out.

Turn wrong side out and sew open sides together, leaving the slit at the top open. Turn right side out and push the hanger through.
