Sew a modern teddy
Put a smile on someone's face with this bright and easy to sew teddy
Enlarge templates by 500 per cent. Cut out two body pieces from fabric, four arms and legs and one face from felt.
Attach face to one body piece and embroider the eyes and mouth. Stitch legs and arms together around outer edge in pairs.
Tack them to teddy front as shown. Pin and stitch the main pieces together around outer edge, taking 6mm seam allowances and leaving a gap for turning through.
Clip seam allowances to stitching at corner of ears. Turn right side out. Fill with polyester toy stuffing and sew up gap in stitching.
