Sew a quirky soft toy
This cute little animal can be whatever you decide it is!
To make
Enlarge template to 22cm high and cut two body shapes and four arms from linen.
With right sides facing, pin and stitch two arm pieces together around curved edges, taking 1cm seam allowance. Trim, turn right sides out, press and repeat for second arm.
Pin arms to right side of one body piece at notches, facing inwards. With right sides facing, pin and stitch body pieces together, taking 1cm seam allowances and leaving a gap. Trim, turn right sides out and press. Stuff and sew up gap.
Sew on buttons for eyes and stitch a cross for the mouth. Cut a 45cm x 6.5cm length of patterned fabric for scarf. Hem around edges and tie around the neck.
